2022-11-12 07:10:17 The OTPP (Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan) confirmed that it invested $95 million into the fallen crypto exchange FTX.

However, the OTPP said that the investment would have a limited impact on the pension plan as the investment represents less than 0.05 percent of its total net assets.

2022-11-12 00:18:57 Nixon Peabody, a legal advisory company wrote back in May 2022 about "How a bankruptcy of a cryptocurrency exchange may affect holders."

According to Nixon's Christopher Fong, counsel in the Bankruptcy & Financial Restructuring group: "If an exchange declares bankruptcy, it can legally claw back many of the withdrawals its depositors made over the 90 days before the bankruptcy and the burden would shift to the customer to provide a defense."

2022-11-11 22:00:21 Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT's floor price has been dropping and is currently hovering around 58 ETH or about $76,000, which is about a 6-7% drop in the last 24 hours. If calculating the dollar value, with ETH also dropping, it has fallen almost 24% in the past two days.

Another issue tied in with the current market decline includes BendDAO. The lending protocol is currently auctioning off 14 Bored Ape NFTs from liquidated loans and has bids much lower than the current floor prices.

Previously he purchased cryptopunk5822 for 8000 ETH and set the Guinness record for the highest price of NFT.

2022-11-11 08:57:01 Based on the reports that were published, Sam Bankman-Fried has been running FTX out of his luxury penthouse in the Bahamas with his 9 roommates, who are, or used to be, paired up in romantic relationships with each other. This includes Alameda CEO Caroline Ellison, who centered the stage in the collapse of FTX.

A person familiar with the matter said that "The whole operation was run by a gang of kids in the Bahamas."

Among the 9 roommates are FTX co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Gary Wang, FTX Director Nishad Singh and Caroline Ellison.
