About Elrond
This project, listed here under its earlier name Elrond (EGLD), has since rebranded to MultiversX, as its own Telegram channels make clear: a "distributed blockchain network for next-gen applications," decentralized via more than 3,000 nodes and scalable through sharding, per its own description. CoinMarketCap tags it under distributed computing and DePIN.
Two official channels are confirmed: the Telegram-verified announcement channel "MultiversX - Announcements" (@MultiversXAnn), about 294,000 subscribers as of September 26, 2026, and the equally verified community chat "MultiversX - Community" (@MultiversX), about 31,300 members. Recent announcement posts covered the launch of its "Supernova" mainnet upgrade and, days later, a temporary network pause after a VM-level exploit attempt, followed by a recovery upgrade that restored normal operation.
Both channels speak in the project's own name and were confirmed by the catalog's review. As with any renamed project, verify a current Telegram link against coinmarketcap.com or multiversx.com rather than an old Elrond-branded link found elsewhere.
