Flare is a Layer 1 blockchain described on its own site as a full-stack solution for data-intensive use cases, branded as "the blockchain for data." CoinMarketCap tags it under Layer 1 and ISO 20022, and it was added to CoinMarketCap on 11 December 2020.
The confirmed official channel is "📢Flare Official Announcements" (@flareofficialannouncements), with about 2,001 subscribers on 26.09.2026; its own bio states plainly that it is the only official Flare Network news channel and warns not to trust any others. Recent posts cover a redesign of the FLR token's inflation and burn mechanics, and coverage of XRP-backed vault products built on Flare. CoinMarketCap separately lists a larger, Telegram-verified group, "Flare Network ✔" (@FlareNetwork), with about 15,582 members. Confirmed community channels also exist for Chinese- and Russian-speaking audiences.
The announcements channel is confirmed by manual review of our catalog and, as its own bio warns, is the only channel the project asks you to trust — always verify any other "Flare" channel against the CoinMarketCap page before trusting it.
