About Polygon
Polygon is a layer-2 scaling network for Ethereum, and its website currently frames the project around programmable stablecoin payments built on top of existing infrastructure. CoinMarketCap tags it with Layer 2, Scaling and PoS categories, among many other ecosystem and portfolio tags reflecting its long history.
The official community chat, "Polygon Official Community" (@polygonofficial), carries Telegram's verification checkmark and had about 41,700 members as of 26.09.2026. A separate verified official announcements channel, "Polygon Official Announcements" (@polygonannouncements), had about 13,900 subscribers. No preview posts were available for either at the time of this review, so their current topics cannot be described.
Both channels' status is confirmed by manual review by the catalog's editors and reinforced by Telegram's own verification checkmarks. Given how many older, now-inactive Polygon-branded channels still exist from earlier stages of the project, it is worth relying on these two verified channels rather than legacy ones found through search.
