About Toshi
Toshi is a cat-themed meme token on the Base network, presented on its own site, toshithecat.com, as "Face of Base." CoinMarketCap tags it under Animal Memes, Base Ecosystem, Cat-Themed and Memes, and lists it among Binance Alpha airdrops.
The official Telegram is the chat "$TOSHI | Base Chain Portal" at @toshibase — about 17,600 subscribers as of 26.09.2026. Like several other meme-coin entries here, it functions mainly as an entry gate: its pinned welcome post tells newcomers to double-check they have the right link via the "Telegram" link on the official website, toshithecat.com, and the contract on Basescan, before a human-verification step. A later post warns that any ads in the channel are not affiliated with the project.
The link is confirmed because the channel's own welcome post names the exact same website, toshithecat.com, listed as the project's site, in addition to CoinMarketCap listing this handle in the coin's chat field. Because the project's own post explicitly warns about copycats and unaffiliated ads, the safest way to reach this chat is through the link on toshithecat.com or the CoinMarketCap listing, not through search or shared invite links.
