About World Mobile Token

World Mobile describes itself, via its site worldmobile.io, as a real-world mobile network project offering connectivity plans and hardware, and CoinMarketCap tags place it in the DePIN and distributed-computing categories, with a presence across Cardano, Solana and several EVM networks.

The project runs two official channels. World Mobile (@WorldMobileTeam) is described as the official community covering the WMTx token, AirNode and EarthNode operators and the wider ecosystem, with about 2,900 members as of 26.09.2026. The companion World Mobile Announcements (@WorldMobileAnnouncements) had around 2,600 subscribers; its recent posts covered the project's own recovery process after a security incident affecting the token on Ethereum, including updates as exchanges such as Kraken, Coinbase and Bitvavo restored trading and transfers, plus news of an expanded eSIM travel product covering more destinations.

Both handles are listed on World Mobile Token's CoinMarketCap page, and their descriptions match the site's positioning and each other. Note that the recovery updates describe the project's own remediation of an incident, not a third-party scheme; use the links from CoinMarketCap or worldmobile.io rather than a Telegram search.
