Visual artist Jonathan Rosen has teamed up with Treum, the company behind the wildly successful NFT project EulerBeats, to release a limited set of NFTs exhibited first on a 36-screen digital facade on Oxford Street in London and currently displayed on Nasdaq’s seven-story tower in Times Square, New York.

Rosen will release four NFTs titled I WANT, BIG, DROP, and FAMOUS that explore ideas around desire and notoriety in addition to a first of its kind “chance-based” NFT minting lottery. In addition, Rosen has created a fifth NFT in collaboration with Nasdaq’s Purpose Initiative and Broadway Cares, a nonprofit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization, to raise money for the nearby charity.

The five winning collectors of his 1-of-1 1000+ phrase pieces will be allowed to have their face, name, and/or crypto wallet address displayed on the Nasdaq tower, next to their newly minted NFT. Today, June 8, Doge, the iconic meme of an excited-looking Shiba Inu, will be sold in an auction as an NFT on Zora marketplace. The auction is curated by Know Your Meme, the internet meme database.

The image of the iconic dog Kabosu was taken by a Japanese nursery teacher Atsuko Sato back in 2010, and has been used to portray various memes all over the internet as well as inspired the Dogecoin, a cryptocurrency branded after the meme.

"This is *the first time *Know Your Meme is certifying the authenticity of a meme NFT, as we were able to verify that Atsuko herself would be auctioning the photographs of Kabosu," said Don Caldwell, the database's editor-in-chief.

He said it's important for Know Your Meme to certify the auction because some people have tried to mint NFTs they do not own.

The company is using NFT technology to build a platform that protects user privacy and data and allows the owners to monetise them securely. SdL was co-founded by PayPal's former head of blockchain strategy Jonathan Padilla.

The seed round was led by Hong Kong-based blockchain investment firm Kenetic, with participation from venture capital funds Blockchain Capital, Struck Ventures, Zilliqa Capital, FTX, Sam Bankman-Fried, Tribe Capital, and Zinal Growth.

SdL is different from other NFT ventures since it is designed for the creation of commercial and industrial NFTs by using NFTs as the cookies of the Web 3.0 ecosystem, rather than just have NFTs represent digital items
