As recently became known, Snoop Dogg's son Champ Medici has officially joined the Cardano NFT project "Clay Mates" team. According to the official announcement, Medici joins the project in order to develop strategic partnerships, as well as to expand its audience's reach.

Champ Medici is a longtime fan of Clay Nation and has repeatedly expressed his love for what is probably the hottest of the Cardano NFT projects. Moreover, earlier both Medici himself and his father, Snoop Dogg, who is a great enthusiast in the field of cryptocurrencies and especially NFT, collaborated with Clay Nation. As part of the collaboration, the creative team of the project even presented NFT avatars of the artists to them.It is also worth noting that Medici is one of the few public figures who support Cardano.

Yat Siu, the co-founder of crypto/NFT venture fund giant Animoca Brands, labeled the recent Minecraft NFT ban as “hypocritical” and emphasized that nonfungible tokens (NFT) can be inclusive, despite arguments to the contrary.The firm stated that NFTs were against its values, as they foster price speculation, scarcity, exclusion and potential rug pulls.

Projects such as NFT Worlds were utilizing Minecraft’s open source servers to host a metaverse platform that had crypto and NFT ecosystems built around it. The project appeared to be relatively popular, given that it has generated more than $80 million worth of NFT trading volume and claims to have around 100,000 players. The Animoca Brands co-founder noted that he found it hypocritical that Minecraft would exclude a small portion of the user base, considering that the company’s stated that it values “inclusion”.

Billionaire tech entrepreneur Reid Hoffman, best known for co-founding business networking platform LinkedIn, is releasing a series of Solana-based NFTs based on images he creates using OpenAI's DALL-E 2 artificial intelligence software.

Hoffman announced the initiative today on Twitter, noting that he would auction the first piece starting today on Magic Eden, the largest Solana NFT marketplace.The project, called Untranslatable Words, will span 11 pieces of tokenized images originally created via DALL-E 2, which generates art based on written prompts. The first piece in the collection, “mångata,” is up for auction and has a current top bid of 12 SOL, or about $517. The Swedish term means “the road-like reflection of the moon on water,” according to the Magic Eden listing.
