NortonLifeLock recently announced that it'll be adding ETH mining features to its Norton 360 antivirus software through its latest offerings in the form of Norton Crypto and Norton Crypto Wallet. The former is an ETH mining tool built into Norton 360 whereas the latter is a cloud-based solution in which users can store their earnings.

So, what can the crypto industry make of this news?
The irony here is that Norton has previously warned its users about the risks of cryptojacking and other malicious crypto threats.

Nonetheless, the positive takeaway for the crypto industry is that Norton's integration of crypto mining and storage features as part of its anti-virus software not only illustrates the fact that crypto is becoming increasingly mainstream but also indicates that Norton has developed a competent security framework to handle the attendant risks.

Canadian outfit Daymak recently announced that it's currently building the world’s first automobile that can mine cryptocurrency. Daymak's upcoming new light electric vehicle (LEV), dubbed the Spiritus, will be equipped with high-tech mining hardware and blockchain technology that will allow it to mine all kinds of crypto, from BTC to DOGE, while it’s charging.

So, how does it actually works?
The Spiritus is equipped with a GPU that supports a patent-pending system known as the Daymak Nebula which comprises of a miner that collects the coins and a digital wallet that stores them for future use. In the true spirit of green technology, the emission-free Spiritus will be using solar energy to power its crypto mining system.

The crypto mining feature of the Spiritus not only helps make up for its depreciation rate but also paves the way for green crypto mining.
