How does the Vault work?

The Vault claims JOE rewards and automatically compounds them by either purchasing discounted yyJOE, or if no discount is available then by minting more yyJOE.

APY is currently 18.5% but is in fact >20% higher than displayed for new entrants as you can receive a discount purchasing yyJOE on Yak Swap vs minting new yyJOE.

For existing yyJOE stakers
If you're an existing yyJOE staker, simply unstake your yyJOE and deposit into the Vault to start compounding returns.

Where does the APY come from?

yyJOE receives 15% of the yield (in $JOE) generated from Yield Yak's Trader Joe veJOE eligible farms. Whenever a veJOE farm is reinvested, those rewards automatically accrue back to the yyJOE vault.

2022-10-28 18:16:26 Yield Yak’s GLP Vault is now integrated with Arable Finance.

GMX enthusiasts, you now have another option to earn additional yield on top of your yield-bearing GLP. Yield Yak’s GLP receipt token (aka yyGLP) can now be deposited as collateral on Arable Finance to take out an arUSD loan against to earn additional yield. arUSD is Arable’s native stablecoin.

Hubble Exchange are a new decentralised platform for trading perpetual futures and aim to offer an Avalanche-native experience for trading perpetual futures with its multi-collateral, cross-margin design.

2022-09-29 13:21:55 New governance vote for YAK stakers: vote on Treasury Investment into future partner protocol DeltaPrime DeFi

DeltaPrime are an upcoming Avalanche native DeFi protocol offering under-collateralised loans + cross-margin yield farming. They’re in their Alpha testing stage, with plans for the full launch in November.

DeltaPrime’s first integrated test yield farm has been a Yield Yak one, with plans to add more in the future.

The proposal is for the YY Treasury to invest $5,000 USDC into DeltaPrime's private investor raise to show support to a fellow Avalanche-native project which has plans to integrate Yield Yak products.
