The new hype in the NFT world, Moonbirds #2642, set a record by selling for 350 ETH. The green on green pixelated owl received numerous bids, but on April 23, it ended up in the wallet of the buyer ascuranft for $1.03 million at the time of the sale.

The sale was followed by 3 other Moonbirds selling for over $500,000. Moonbirds #8154 sold for 199 ETH, #5602 sold for $299 ETH, and #3904 has sold for 305 ETH.

NFT marketplace OpenSea has suspended the trading of "Gambling Apes" non-fungible tokens from the Sand Vegas Casino Club after regulators in Texas and Alabama ordered trading to halt as they were categorized as unregistered securities.

A community leader for the project said the team is working with lawyers and has reached out to Texas and Alabama in "good faith" to discuss the next steps.

The NFTs are currently listed on LooksRare and continue being traded, according to data from Etherscan.

The crypto exchange OKcoin has set to launch an NFT marketplace with zero fees and uncapped creator royalties that can be earned on secondary markets.

The announcement was made by CEO Hong Fan on April 19 and said the marketplace would further empower creators with NFTs in the same way that blockchain technology empowers financial freedom with cryptocurrency.
