On Apr 18, Hyundai announced its partnership with Meta Kongz NFT project to create a limited collection of 30 NFTs to launch in May 2022.

Hyundai has also created a new Twitter account relating to the new NFT announcement and posted a teaser of an animated Meta Kong riding their iconic 1975 Hyundai PONY in space.

On April 17, TON Punk #817 sold for 456.1 TON, equivalent to $904.13 on the secondary market.

TON Punks currently have a floor price of 329 TON, with the final sale scheduled to happen on April 19.

TON Punks announced that the price of each NFT will be 149 TON, which is 50% lower than the current floor price.

2022-04-18 16:02:01 MetaMask warns users of possible iCloud phishing attacks.

On Apr 17, MetaMask sent out a warning regarding possible iCloud phishing attacks. If the user has iCloud backup enabled for their MetaMask wallet data, their secret key phrase is stored online.

The warning comes after a report from an NFT collector who supposedly lost $650,000 worth of digital assets and NFTs on Apr 15. The NFT collector confirmed the six-digit verification code on the phone to the scammers, as they were unsuspecting of the caller. Once the code was shared, the scammers hung up and accessed his MetaMask account via data stored on iCloud.

MetaMask now recommends that all iOS users disable iCloud backups for MetaMask, specifically by turning off the toggle to avoid any future complications. Instructions can be found here.

Punk6529, a famous NFT collector, unveiled an ambitious open metaverse project that might be able to attract 100 million users.

A report by Cointelegraph said that the project will be called "OM" and aims to be an open platform built and shared by the community. The museum district of the first city (Genesis City) was launched in alpha mode earlier on April 14. The bigger picture for the collector is to launch 10 self-governing cities with a maximum population of 10 million each city.

Punk6529 shared to its followers that it might be "the most high-end art NFTs ever displayed in one place."

A cyber security firm Check Point said that it noticed a vulnerability in the Rarible NFT marketplace that could have had its users lose their NFTs in a single transaction.

According to the report by Cointelegraph, the cyber security firm discovered that malicious actors could send users a fake link to an NFT that executes JavaScript code that attempts to send a setApprovalForAll request to the victim. If the link is clicked, the user would be granting full access to their wallets on Rarible.

Fortunately, Check Point notified Rarible of the issue on April 15, where Rarible promptly acknowledged and fixed the security flaw.

As reported earlier this month, Line has been working on its NFT marketplace and has officially launched "LINE NFT" on April 14.

The NFT marketplace will initially offer approximately 40,000 NFTs to its 90 million LINE users. The first round of NFTs will include depictions of characters from a famous anime-serious "Patlabor the Mobile Police," with more to come in the coming months.

As most NFTs are sold online through an NFT marketplace, at the Art Dubai Digital, the public can walk around and view digital art and NFTs that are presented in physical form.
